This picture made me laugh – not in a good way – when I first saw it. Then when I took a second look, I realized it’s actually true.
These are things we should be doing. The problem is that my knee-jerk reaction was “sure, I’ll do that when I have time. Probably in about 10 years or so…”
I decided to really look at this list and then pick one thing that I thought I could do. I chose number 6. I chose that one because it’s probably the thing I’m the worst at.
As an example, I have rescheduled my mammogram 4 times! Every time something comes up for my husband, a change in a therapy session, a new specialist to see, a primary care visit, I will move my appointments without hesitation.
I decided to put a stop to that. I’m going to treat my own health with the same respect I give his health! My next mammogram appointment is scheduled and I’m keeping it!!!
I’m also going to schedule the dental checkup I’m overdue for…
What thing on this list are you the worst at? What can you do to change that?
